MacSpeakerz supports units conversion for data entry.  Units conversion is useful when adding new drivers to the Driver Library or when specifying box parameters.  Use the conversion codes in the table below to convert from the listed units to the units used by MacSpeakerz.  Simply add the conversion code at the end of the numerical entry.

  8. mm or MM                                     millimeters to inches
  9. c or C                                                 centimeters to inches
  10. c2 or C2                                         sq centimeters to sq inches
  11. c3 or C3                                         cubic centimeters to cu ft
  12. m or M                                                meters to inches
  13. m2 or M2                                        square meters to sq inches
  14. m3 or M3                                        cubic meters to cubic feet

  17. Example:  In the Box Parameters window you wish to enter a Box Volume, V(B), of 40 liters.

  19. Enter:    40L (or 40l) in the V(B) field followed by return.

  21. Action:  The volume is converted to cubic feet and displayed in the V(B) field.
